goodbye ah-ma

angmo 99yrs old, chinese 100yrs old, my dear ah-ma passed away last friday night at home, peacefully in her sleep. at first i was worried that the family couldn't take it but honestly, we were all prepared to face this day due to her old age. think in another way, god had relieved her from all pain from now on.

for the past few days rushing from sengkang to hougang to yishun and back to hougang and sengkang, it had been very tiring especially for a new driver like me. it seems like the acquisition of my new transport machine was meant for a purpose.

ah-ma's image in my memory suddenly zoomed back to the time where she was still staying with ah-yi. her neatly combed white hair with her hair pins, typical silky white-black floral top with black pants and always smiling at us... ah-ma was definitely part of my growing up memory.

now ah-ma has passed on, my mother could be living a brand new way of life now. hopefully the old man at my place can change his attitude and lived a life. i believe our family life could be after all one of the most blissful one, or at least i wish.

rachel introduced me to the main movie theme song sometimes back, i downloaded it and had been listening to it over and over again. however as much as e song i like e song, i am unable to link e song to e movie. not until today, i watched it and i like e movie very much.

e story line was touching and close to heart. literally i was brought back to my schooling dayz. i wouldnt want to go into detail on how my schooling's dayz was like but the entire story was so close to my heart that i thought e director has spoken to me prior to this filming, ha! anyway full marks for this movie and very much i would like to own a dvd of this too! first of all, i have got to fix my dvd player which was down since last month!

congratulation

yesterday, i attended e wedding solemnizations of huiyans and justins at clarke quay and central tong-le respectively. and a week prior to this auspicious date, 11-nov-11, i attended james wedding at mandarin orchard too. obviously e couples were over e moon, especially justin and grace, both of them showed their deep affection for each other while they teared in front of dozen of cameras last evening! and for e first time, julip was with us for such a joyous occasions. well, as expected, she turned on her radio loud in e evening but we managed to off that shortly, not without a fight though!

next step

i am given an opportunity to improve e living of my familys recently. i am seriously in thought and e very first step was established. a call later literally put my hollyhood-like dream to a halt. keep my finger crossed and hopefully a new development will arise to put e positives back in place.

these days, i have been focusing on jpf talk. ever since e interviews done with malek awab and e famous sreetkings, i have been receiving recognition from oversea too. honestly till now, i am still unable to identify which is e correct direction for junpiter futbol but i am willing to try out all possibilities which will put junpiter futbol at e best position in this new online industry! well, everything looks alright so far. my very first merchandise - silicon wristband, is ready for distribution and sales!

very fast, julip has already past her first month. yesterday we brought her to the doctor for routine check-up, amazingly she has grown so fast - she put on 1.5kg from her last visit! now she is a healthy 4.5kg baby!

watching her grow is a blissful thing but of course credit goes to my wifey too. e lack of sufficient rest and fatigue is unavoidable but im glad both of us are doing well. i have sort of gotten use to how she will disturb our sleep during e night, her loud and sharp cry for milk, tonnes of soiled diapers.... our re-adjustment of life is doing great with e addition of julip. anyway, more to come. both my wifey and me are just going to get better moving into our 2nd month of parenthood!

allow me to introduce this young gal to you, her name is julip tan. she looks more like her mummy and if im gonna say one part which she looks like her daddy, me, i would have to say she looks longish! long limps, long fingers and foot!

my baby daughter arrives to this world on sun, 14 aug 2011. her mummy has got a hard time but i am glad both of them are healthy and fine. e feeling of looking at julip when we first met was so strange. i am wondering would she recognize who am i but one thing which i am sure she does have good stamina just like daddy here, she cries loud!

now while im blogging, she's being cuddled by her mummy on e bed. touching her hair softly, its just unspeakable blissful kind of feeling.

adjusting to my new role, its not as easy as i thought but i think everything will be fine. dear julip, as pretty as her mummy, as attractive as her daddy, welcome to e tan family.

singapore futbol scene erupted again last evening. singapore won e game 5-3. in fact after singapore scored e fourth goal, i was so touched that i nearly cry. very emo right? actually i also dunno why but i was just very touched when i see singapore leading malaysia 4-1! honestly, it has been awhile since we achieved that kind of result against old rival malaysia. now we all know, we will have another hard time a bukit jalil in a weeks time. too bad i cant be there to cheer for e red lions. i will make sure i stay tune to e live telecast if there is. to e lions, slay e yellow kitty!

e month of july has been a very easy month for me actually. other than a few internal events, i have got no exhibition events, in fact my next exhibition event is in september! no complaint!

saw my photo above? that was taken at wavehouse during our mice team-building event yesterday. after plenty of fallings and recoverings, finally managed to balance myself on e water for that few pathetic seconds! ultimately i have to say its really fun. this wave surfing skill is something which i have no idea when i could use it but i believe when times come, i will know it, lol! tsunami comes, i tear down my house door and surf through e tsunami lor.

then night set in, it came our forever favourite, dancing! as compared to e previous event, probably our current venue was way too big. people were scattered around and we couldnt gather all at e dancing pool. other than e usual dumping people into e pool (yes, this time was a pool, not sea), vodka was e next horrible thingy for the night! head superb heavy!! well, when event ended, its still a job well done! i cant wait to see when rachel gonna tag me in my wave surfing video sia! superb excited although i have seen it a couple of times last night!

extremely fast

sometimes e pace of my life is so fast that even me myself couldnt react fast enough to deal with it. and just like this photo above, just laugh it off........

i have a series of plans to achieve a dream. however e progress is moving kind of fast that i am doubting myself if everything is still alright and extremely normal to proceed? to think about it, im such an emo-kid! look on e bright side, junpiter futbol is raising an awareness in e futbol community here in singapore especially after e 3rd episode was launched days ago. e online skill videos attracts vital attentions and i am really enjoying e experience. i wont hide e fact that i am very concern about e viewership and e comments which are coming in from especially external.

what follows next - first was a venue sponsorship from e cage and now a tv channel! discussion is in place and ongoing and hopefully something can work out between junpiter futbol and e tv channel soon. there are some pretty good ideas which we shared during a near 2hrs coffee session at java detour but to commercialize it a little, it will take some brain-storming sessions before things can be worked out. i have confidence both of us can work out something for sure.

i cant help but think slightly far in how much i can achieve with what i am going to do.... but realistically speaking its just a paper and pen stage now. nothing is concrete at this moment. id love to share with someone other than that tv channel but seriously i dont know who to speak to. ultimately its time for me to make a decision. in this aspect, i know its time to do something for myself.

surprises

full of surprises this year. what i meant was my BIG THREE birthday this year! just like previous years, i am always busy working on 14 june. no exceptional this year. this year i am working extremely hard on communic asia event. probably just when i have no expectation for this year's celebration, i was caught surprise on several occasions.

first was e one which justin arranged together with e rest of feca futsal where we had steamboat late in e night at baidu. dinner was nothing extraordinary but came e present, it was a much sturdy video-camera tripod standee which should have costed them a bomb! they always complained about e one which i always used for junpiter futbol's filming!!

second was another steamboat session which took place just one day after e one which i had with justin and gang! jonathan invited a couple of us to his place for a home-made steamboat session. jon and family, together with claudia and cabell got me a cake and we had one of e best feast so far this year! ironically, reminded me of chinese new year! lol!

followed by the third and also the last, my colleagues at mbs threw me a dinner celebration in which they got e sales director to fool me into e restaurant which was supposed to be an ops meeting!! my face changed sia! we ate, drank and drunk i think! joanne was there with us too!

nonetheless, this year is e best birthday to date i think. awaiting julip's arrival to this wonderful tan's family, "PA" thingy happened, e established of junpiter futbol, plenty of well wishers' comment on fb.... this has to be e best i ever had these years! well, no time to think back, so much work to be done for communic asia, thank you friends, thank you for taking e effort to share this very special day with me.

one leads to another. after successfully launching jpf episode-2, viewership for that not only set e highest viewership record, e viewerships for e other 2 videos have increased significantly too. of cause i am delighted but not yet contented. i promise e video will get better for every episode launched!

honestly speaking, i am already thinking of what will be e next step if e target for my very first objective - awareness, is met. well, i think i am slightly over-ambitious which i am already looking at doing simple merchandises. think about it carefully, what i am doing are just money going out, nothing ever coming in. that really prompt me to seriously think about e very next movement. to keep jpf going, it has to be profit-making. guess i really have to put in some thoughts and see how i can bring e entire thingy up to another level.

not too sure if its an over-reaction from e mass media but i believe certain coverages are definitely required to emphasize e importance of "vote-wisely" and e future of our next generation. in my personal facebook, i have been hit by a friend who's apparently a workers' party supporter, saying i do not have a dream and i do not spare a thought for e future. well, i responded calmly so so to speak, professionally to silence e critics in e most appropriate politically correct way. however that's not e main topic or issue which i am trying to address.

if you notice, most of e people are talking and commenting about e general election in e facebook these days. are they really concern or are they just following e trend of trying to get involved? i dont know. some say people like me so bor-chap but e main point here is they dont understand me. it does not mean that you posted videos and comments on general election shows that you are patriotic and people like me who dont post any videos or comments dont give a damn.

to create awareness of e importance of general election will surely have heated argument and discussion invited. no doubt about that. but eventually whats e whole thing all about? its about singapore moving forward to a new era of leaders who are able to provide all of us, e commoners, a better life at a place where we call home. this morning, i casted my vote on a party which i feel that it could lead me or perhaps us from a bright day to a brighter day. i am not a politician and probably i do not understand e whole picture as clearly as some, but what i understand is at e end of e day, every party will be doing their best to give singaporean e best within their means. barcelona is a great futbol team. they do not have a famous coach or leader like real madrid or man utd, but e team plays well. it still goes down to e players (for success). in our instance, its us, e commoners who will make singapore great!

just done with an event and now finally have this chance to blog about something. for e past 1 week, other than the event which i have done, i have decided not to talk about it as it might prompt me to type out some unexpected vulgar! alright, apart from that unhappiness, theres another thing to be happy and proud about, i have successfully launched my own futbol brand, Junpiter Futbol aka JPF!

e very first step is really not easy. and i believe e subsequent step will be more difficult and tougher from now on. what makes me proud was e respond, especially sponsorship, coming from e cage. in less than 24hrs after launching JPF first video, i have received a venue sponsorship from e cage! its definitely an encouraging one. however despite receiving e venue sponsorship, e viewership was not up to my expectation yet. anyway to receive a venue sponsoring, its already a small success. so whats going to happen now or soon, episode-2 will have to be hurried up. dear JPF supporters, please stay tune and give me your best support!

一位我以为我已经不认识的他似乎回到了他的甘邦童年。

在我完全没有意料的情况之下他突然说要去钓鱼。

而且还是跟他的马来朋友一起去。

吗呀！他改性了！

我会说意外是以为在他的生活中除了让他身边的人伤心之外, 再也没有其他的好事。

更不用说拿起鱼竿坐在树下享受鱼儿慢慢上钩的感觉。

６年後の中田選手

２００５年時にシンガポール代表と日本代表の試合があった。

その時は多い強いなサッカー選手はここに来て、

例えば小笠原選手、高原選手、そして中田選手。

チケットなかったので試合を見たことができなかった残念でした。

今はも６年すぎまた同じなスタジアムでワールドクラス日本選手のプレーを見ました！

今度の試合はチャリティマッチ。

もちろスタジアムで皆さん一番好きな選手はやっぱり中田選手。

このマッチ彼と一緒にシンガポールへあと前園選手、澤登選手と北沢選手だ。

試合はおもしろいいゲームと思います、ゴールもいっぱいあった！

最後は日本のチーム勝って。

this coming week will be e week for mens fashion. and why exactly made me feel this way? no other better way than to assign me to run this show! ironically i am very keen to know more about this show however not really to e extent of running that. anyway, good luck or bad luck, this falls on my shoulder. with me, other victims include rachel and adrian! e guys in-charge of this MFW setup are not particularly familiar with exhibition working procedure. give them e benefit of doubt, none of them are in this MICE industry. what to do.... challenging week ahead but i think im ready, so as rachel and adrian!

work aside, im bringing joanne and julip for e lion king show on 13 apr. well, i cant afford e most exclusive seating but to pay 100 over bucks for a single seat at e blue zone, thats e maximum to my capability! haha! and in any case if beyond is coming to town again, i am more willing to fork out another few hundred bucks for their concert! ok, back to work desk, blog again when im available and "alive" in e sea of MFW gays!

while waiting for my lovely wifey to knock off from work in another 20mins, i decided to do some blogging since ive got my latest asset, my new macbook pro, with me! thinking about what to blog about, dhoby ghaut just reminded me of my favourite bubble milk tea, eskimo! ok, lets blog about this milk tea!

normally when you are a celebrity then you might be able to convince others to try out or even purchase what you are recommending at your own blog. i am not a celebrity here but i would very much love to SHARE with others what i feel that its worth every single hard-earned penny.

i dont really know much about this bubble milk tea which im going to blog about, only know that they have outlets at dhoby ghaut underground link, marina bay link and promenade link (i think).... unlike other bubble milk tea, you can choose e level of sweetness for your own bubble milk tea. e bubbles are not hard nor soft, just nice lah. and if you are a milk-based beverage lover, this is e type of bubble milk tea which you have been long-searching for! however if you are those dessert fan, their outlets do sell different variety of sweets as well.

according to their missions stated on all plastic cups, eskimo bubble milk tea is always freshly brewed, they use healthy fruit sugar, use only selected tea leaves, premium ingredients are always priority and most importantly adjustable sweetness! wa say.... why can you not try this eskimo base on their missions!! lastly, i am not sure if its coincidence, i notice all their staffs are all not local - mainly from taiwan or china. lets say, if this is a MIC aka made-in-china (taiwan) product and they only hired their own country mates to run e business, this is definitely an excellent arrangement! preserve e spirit of their own country/culture, ive got nothing but compliment for eskimo. nonetheless, eskimo only cost $2.40 for an average small cup which is not heavily priced considered e fact their outlets are all located at CBD area.

meeting e legend

as per my topic indicates, this write-up is about meeting e legend. i just feel that my previous blog has not clearly express how i felt while meeting e legend and thats why ive decided to have another write-up on my brief meet-up with e legend, pele.

while coordinating his paiza and media luncheon at famous french restaurant, guy savoy, i was always standing behind e wine bar hoping to catch a glimpse of famous pele. during e luncheon, i displayed outmost professionalism with both hands constantly either at e front or at e back ready to react in anyway i am suppose to in my jobscope. to be exact, i am feeling just like a small kid hoping for an opportunity to have a photo taken with pele.

i am so excited but at e same time nervous. onsite there were so many medias around and whenever pele had a short break, there would be paiza or media guests approaching him either for photo or signature. some even went to e extend of requesting him to sign on various jerseys! i am so envy lor. for that short few hours, i am thinking of under what situation would i have e opportunity to approach him for a photo shot. enough is enough, e moment dan, nyc chief marketing officer, walked pass, i asked him if i could have a photo taken with pele and his reply was an instant yes! probably trying to repay a tiny bit of kindness back to me for helping him e day before, he assured me that i would get that photo taken in e usual american-black style!

i am waiting and waiting but that opportunity didnt look promising as e time drew nearer for him to leave e restaurant. then i was kind of "aiya, just another near-miss again".... just before pele started leaving e restaurant, dan pulled me over to pele whos on his way out, he introduced me to pele and mentioned that ive been a great help for e past few days during their promo tour! pele exchanged smile with me. i shook his thick hand, without releasing after e firm shake, both of our hands moved to e buddies-style shake and i had e most blissful-feel photo taken with e legendary player! not once, but twice we had e photo taken - dan assured we have e best shot in e dimmed french restaurant.

to me, pele is not just an typical futbol idol. i admit he does not belong to my era but again, to me, he is a legend. a legend whom my dad has been telling me since i was young, a legend who has been named e greatest player ever on planet. this year he is 70yrs old and truthfully say i am not sure if i will ever have e opportunity to meet him again. with e photo taken with him, hopefully his legend stored in that piece of photo can be passed down to my next generation, my child, my grandchildren and on and on. so when someone wants to share his or her experiences when meeting up with e legend pele, i would say ive done his luncheon together with another great, eric cantona, ive pulled his chair for pele, i shook his hand, firm shake and ive got a photo taken with e great legend...

NYC doesnt really stands for new york city here, similarly originated from new york city, it stands for new york cosmos. this unknown team to my era suddently become one of e most talked about topics here in e local futbol scene because of their big casts involved, former man utd si-bei hao-lian eric cantona and futbol legend, pele!

coincidently i read about e revamping and rebuilding of this pele-made famous team from e 70s last nov-2010 and never did i thought that this team will be here in singapore, and as e saying goes, expect e unexpected, i have such a rare opportunity to have a photo taken together with pele and cantona. *will post cantona's photo on another separate occasion*

among e 2 photos which ive taken with pele, this is particularly my favourite! wanna know e reason why i like this photo?? check out our locked-hands in this shot! so buddies right!!

during this promotion tour of theirs, ive enriched and enlightened alot. greatly benefited from dan cherry's, NYC chief marketing officer, marketing plans and strategies. precise and tedious hardwork is put in to ensure this club will be back to e major league by year 2014. dan's also e reason why i had e opportunity to shake pele's hand and had photo taken. thankedan, thank him for his introduction to NYC, thank terry. thank him for his little merchandise gift. thank mbs team for e last minute effort in ensuring our pele and cantona were "man-handled" nicely. probably i really agree with what jon said, this is my destiny to run such event....

never thought that we will be flying again this year, and yes, we were on e road again. destination a shopping paradize, bangkok! probably this is e only trip which ive spent e least spending just $300. please do not think that this small amount of spending did not get me anywhere, well.. your ah-bang here manage to pick up shit at his forever favourite chatuchak - an authentic japan national team jersey with original ono shinji's printing! so not going to write much about joanne's crazy spree as usual. however certain attention of this trip was turned to baby's wear. we did some shopping for our baby too!

our accomodation was situated at one of e busiest areas in bangkok, not exactly know how to pronounce e road name but somewhere near indra complex, baiyoke sky and just a short 10mins walk to reach platinum fashion mall. e area was especially alive from evening onwards! just like a crowded back alley where people all gathered for some cheap bargains and get intoxicated! and e food has never been better, what do you say about thai food if you have got fuji!!! thats one of e reasons why both joanne and i are constantly aiming at bangkok!

3days passed without knowing and we are back again running on a non-stop hamster-wheel again. other than picking up from where ive stopped from e previous week, upcoming event giving me some challenges as well. embrace e challenges my son! more exciting weeks to come soon!

i once heard someone said, "you will never own a second car if you dun hav e first one". well, in another context, it also means "you will never have a successful business if you dun start one"...... i used to be convinced but now, i am even more convinced that ive made e right choice by starting junpiter futbol aka jpf!

for e start, jpf is never going to make any profit. im 100% sure about it, haiz... no worries, i am giving myself 1 year to make jpf a successful online! by then hopefully i can secure some simple sponsors to keep e site going. ofcos making profit is one of e prorities but i know it aint gonna be that quick.

logo designing has been very challenging for e designing firm which ive engaged. everytime i received e new designs, i never seems to be able to connect with it. no disrespect, e designs are good but everytime it just dun really "clicked". i always feel e designs could be better, could be more pro or could be more artistic. well i guess its never enough and real tough for e designer for having such a client like me!

we can never rush things to be done, or at least its true on my end for jpf. video recording to be e first thing to come next month then follow by e editing, things are slightly delayed per my initial schedule but no worries at all. eventually e best will be presented to all!

big money

this month my colleagues have been going gaga over e 11.5million toto which is going to be drawn in about 2hrs time from now! okay, i myself invested reasonably and just like all other typical singaporeans, wishing that i can be e luckiest one in singapore!!

few days back, i have got this very wild dream. i do not need to be e luckiest one but if i can be ONE of e luckiest one, erm... probably just 2million will do, i will do e following.

first of all, i will use 1million to purchase a condo unit! by collecting rental from this unit, should be able to get a minimum a thousand. that should be quite a healthy side income though! rent it out to foreign students!! haha!

second, e wildest one, i might want to quit my job (indefinitely) to fulfill a dream - professional footballer. *i heard people at e back saying.. football again* to me, i believe you can only talk about dream or ambition ONLY if you have MONEY! im a believer of no money no dream sort of typical singapore chinese guy. so now if ive got e money liao, im gonna give it one last shot at football fame! big clubs such as saf, tampines or home surely wont want me but at least i am confident of approaching clubs like hougang or tanjong pagar for trial! wah lau.. tanjong pagar signed inexperienced players from national footbal league and even prime league, definitely i should be given such an opportunity considering e fact ive got some relevant "expired" experience! haha!! i promise to be a si bei hardworking and disciplined player!

1 year. give myself 1 year to fulfill that simple dream of being a professional footballer. times up, if i do not make an impact in pathing out a (football) career, i will be back to e corporate world! so very crucial, lets see hows e outcome tonight!!

e first one - absence of e right fit. e article goes this way saying some men really have a way of squeezing their butt into a freaking tight jeans and some are wearing a pair of jeans which it can accomodate 2 person! just recently i bought this pair of jeans from bugis, one of my favourite store actually, its those kind of body-hugging sort which can be used as a 3/4 jeans. well, among my jeans, that is e most tightest one and yet i think i look quite ok in that. reason being....?? im slim ma! anyway, i did see men and some friends of mine really squeezed themselves into a real tight jeans revealing their sexy butt curves! guys, time to relook at e whole proportion and e size ya. gonna find something which does not look ass-hugging tight and at e same time, no alien-workshop baggy!

collar popping. i admit i do popped my collar while im in my polo-T at times. and if theres time where im doing that, my wifey will be e first one to remind me to have e collar down! to her, polo-Ts collar should not be popped at ALL TIMES! now i truely believe what she said now. im gonna be guai and keep all collars down to earth on my 1.78m height frame to remain "IN" in e fashion world!

wearing sunglasses indoors or at night. arh ha... e moment i read this, it reminds me of e bollybood zee cine award which ive done recently at my workplace. everytime during this task force meeting to discuss on e events logistic, theres this think-that-he-sibei-yandao-and-cool indian guy who always has his shade on even if e meeting was held in a meeting room! and then my colleagues and myself would always joked about his shade and his undesired coolness! haha! ok, back to my case, so from now onwards, i will remind myself to remove my shade e moment i reach e train station cos normally i will always have it on to avoid eye contact even (sometimes) if im in an indoor venue such as train station, department stores and etc.

carrying womens bags! right from young, i remember my mum telling me NOT to carry womens bags. well, for her objective, its not about being "pang-dang" but to her, by carrying a womans bag is not e most manly thing to do. my wifey will agrue... her bags are all branded one ok! anyway, ive been cultivated as such so i cant help but to laugh while reading these! separately, i think my own collection of bags are more fashionable than my wifeys though! haha!

lastly sports jersey... buay tahan! it totally reminds me of my schoolmate, din! why leh? he is e typical guy who will wear jersey nearly everyday, be it to orchard or for study. you know e funniest part is what - hes not a football fan at all and yet he wears newcastle lah, man utd and etc! i ever asked him before why hes always in a football jersey and e reply is something which i would not disagree with, probably admit he has a superb valid point of view. he said jersey does not have crumpled after wash as much as normal t-shirts or shirts because of its material. so by wearing jersey daily, his mum will not have to iron his wears at all!! yar liao lor! (win already lor!) HAHAHA! when i was younger, i used to wear jersey around even during my courtship dayz with my wifey. now i dont do that anymore due to e fact that i am more aware of my personal fashion at stake.

to be presentable and outstanding among your peers, we will have to bring out e best in ourselves by not overdoing in certain dressing. fashion is all about do-you-dare-to-wear but adequately. something which we can carry off without being too "over-dress" and comfortable. dress accordingly to occasions and you will be oustanding and fashionable. not to forget e 5 pointers above too!

mr nice guy - ah gong

this story goes back to saturday. having slept only at 3am on friday night, i was waken up by my father's call on early saturday morning informing me that.. ah gong passed away. its really a shock news to me. woke up immediately and made my way down to ah gong's place.

compared to others, ah gong is a fortunate old man. he passed away in his sleep. and i thought everybody took it quite well especially ah ma. probably ah gong was already in his 90s and we all knew sooner or later this would happen. my impression of ah gong might not be as deep as some of other grandchildren actually. however i can always remember e tone of how ah gong spoke when he's alive at either kampong or blk-19. ah gong was a well-respected man during e era. to what extend? he was once a consultant to a clan for near 50years! his calligraphy was excellent and probably thats something which ive inherited from him - my handwriting is slight above presentable! i will always remember there's this big phone list which ah gong used to hang up beside his telephone, ah gong insisted to write manually all e families' contacts on it and if im not wrong, e papers which he wrote on was cut by him as well. that might be too far away for you guys to imagine, how about this.... just before ah gong's death, he wrote his own obituary notice! ive seen e original copy after his death and all we need to do was to fill in e blanks - e dates and time of his death on e notice. thats how much he loved writing.

past few days at e wake was like a mini gathering at e void deck. only to know e occasion was not a festive one. as i am considered an "internal" grandson (内孙), i am involved in e prayer and chanting every night till e day ah gong was cremated. during the prayer and chanting, e monks encouraged us to follow through and sing along to their prayer and chanting with e "chord" book. e scripts came with hanyu pinying and ive got to recite word by word and at e same time catch up with their pace! i am finding something interesting here... beside every single word, there was some strokes and circles. ive been trying to figure out was that similar to those usual music scorebook where it tells you where to drag e verse, when to stop and drag again and etc. i still couldnt figure that out. e whole night at e prayer and chanting, i would be analyzing how those monks' "scorebook" was understood and how those musical instruments were played! aiya, ah gong understand one lah - i couldnt recite e "scorebook" so i made use of my time kneeing there to focus on things which interested me lor!

next, e food served at e wake was simply unbelievable! i never knew that food served at a funeral wake could be what i would describe as a feast! im so looking forward to e dinner where they would serve fresh steamed fish, fried chickn cutlet, hot soup, vege and etc.... comes supper, there were stir-fried noodles, deep-fried chicken wings, siew mai and etc.... i helped myself to countless packets of drinks as well! now we all know, e chef and cooks at funeral wake really kicked ass at void deck! my only tiny complaint was e portion of e food could be more!!

e mood at e wake was not really very low and dull but when e 3rd day reached, another bad news came, ah gong's younger brother, passed away too. we were stucked in a funeral marathon. all e relatives who were attending ah gong's were not allow to proceed to ah gong's younger brother's one as per instructed by e monks. it was those typical chinese taoist's rules. however it has been made clear, relatives will all flock over to ah gong's younger brother's wake after ah gong's bones have been picked today (thursday). me and joanne have been advised not to attend any more wake.

this year, e tan's great family has lost someone great, someone whom we looked up to. ah gong's spirit stays though. no chinese new year for e tans here this year. regardless what, we will all miss ah gong i believe. i feel for father too. he's trying to be strong but i know he's real saddened by e fact that his father passed away after so many years. hopefully everybody can recover from this loss and move on in life. and also hope that ah gong can bless e whole tans' families under his "umbrella"!

im half dead for 2 days, and on e third day, i suddently feel slightly alive again. all thanks to e marvellous prescription from e doc and e fantastic discipline of mine by swallowing countless pills and tablets into e weak digestive system.

this month has not been a very healthy month for me. after a pull hamstring and a swollened toe, and now i am running a fever with a "complimentary" sore throat! in order not to pass e virus to my wifey and my precious bb, 2 nights in a row, ive been sleeping in e living room on e couch. finally i am recovering, probably tonight will be back on e comfy bed or at least i hope.

friday gonna be e futsal competition, my boss is urging me to recover well and fast so that i can lead e team in e first ever organized mice-industry futsal competition. i do not have much anticipation and target for this competition but hope that i can recover well and perform to my maximum. regardless whats e result, i believe we will have a great time!

this is my 300th blog... prior to this i was still thinking what could be e best topic to blog for my 300th one but eventually its e middle finger related one! ok ok, nothing really related to this middle finger but i was pissed to e max today!

i was on e cab home this late evening after a wedding dinner, this cab uncle forgot to on his meter. my sala?? he realized it after 5mins and then he turned around to me and said he's gonna add $6 at e end of e final check. you didn't on your freaking meter and i have to pay for your mistake? hang on.... just before you think im turning nasty, i did pay at e end but not $6! hey dumb-ass, this is mr nice guy here - id add some tokens to e final bill but as a matter of fact, lets make this clear, i am not obligated to pay you since you're e one who didnt on your freaking meter.

uncle claimed that he's always on e road driving and he knows e rate way too well to quote me that $6. ah-hem.. uncle, i'm always on e road taking cab over singapore and i know e jumping of e meter way too well to know that you're f**king me around!! im only going to pay $3 e most i told him. so with my final check of $11.40, plus that $3 its $14.40... guess what, i knew he's going to "chu-stunt", he said very hard to calculate, make it $15, additional $0.60. mr nice guy said very hard to calculate huh, then take away e 40cents, make it a lump sum of $14 lor!! you clever im not dumb here.

eventually he accepted e fact that im aint push-over, accepted e hard-earned compromised $14. he took my $50 note and returned me $35 and tried his luck again, as a mr nice guy here, i said uncle, you short-changed me $1! i even said thank you at e end. i won against e dumb-ass.

do you know that i am so f**king pissed with this whole thing. even though ive won e case at e end i am still feeling s***! i dunno why but it's bothering me. just that sometimes we really have to stand up and defend ourself especially when someone try to "makan" you. i've enough of this s***. honestly speaking, i didnt snap but i stood up for myself and for my principle at e moment. anyway too tired to be pissed now... heading to bed, blog about other happier thing soon!

just when you were cracking your brains on various team building activites and games, all they wanted were just music and booze! ive been assigned to organize our first ever mice team building party at bora bora and guess what, its probably e best party i ever organized and attended! e games which we have arranged were fantastic not until e weather spoilted e fun. and what followed next, plenty of booze and great music! all e peeps simply took off their usual white collar shields and started jumping and dancing to e music! i was one of them. no hanky-panky but loads of bodies hugging dancing i supposed. food erm... food was nothing impressive but merely those straight forward bbq stuffs lor. nonetheless, ive mastered e art of organizing "ang-mo's" party; non-booze related activities, don't bother! lol!!

second day of e year looks really great for me! after having e steroid injection to my toe, there wasn't any complication and i am on e pitch running like "siao" this morning! fittness was for sure not as good as before but i am enjoying e playing time together with e team. hey, check out our handsome faces here.. very gungho right!

first victory of year 2011 was marked this morning at bowen sec. weather was kind of good, not that sunny actually but of course lah, i did my usual precaution by applying sunblock! lol! before e end of e game, i put my name on e score-sheet with a well-executed header! im really feeling good after that seeing e ball reached e back of e net! ive taken lots of photos on e game as well. for those who wanna view my "masterpiece", please do a search on this team, feca fc and click on e "feca fc 5:2 reds fc" album.

new year resolution

its e time of e year to blog about my new year resolution again. when you think about it, its kind of funny. whenever a year came to an end, people will start talk and think about e new year resolution but my question is... does it really help? or is that useful? i really don't know leh but i also do it lor. at least i can give myself some goals to hit!

before i start to blog about new year 2011 resolution, maybe allow me a few minutes to recall e year 2010. year 2010 was a year where i left suntec singapore, a place where i practically grew up since i was a 17yrs old young lad. i left suntec for a greener pasture - marina bay sands. till now, i do not regret e move and in fact i did i make e right move. my career vision has opened up and i think i've learnt more. regardless what, e move to e three towers was an enriching one so far.

year 2010 was also a year where my beloved football was brended with lots of new motivations! feca futsal team was established together with some of my childhood buddies! because of this futsal team, i got in touch with many of my former secondary schoolmates again! what i like about e futsal thingy is not just kicking and sweating, one of e reasons is e post futsal meal together with everyone! we would chat about almost everything under e stars at one coffeeshop somewhere where i know i wouldnt be at without them. of course futbol is ultimately e main topic linking all of us up! and not only feca futsal team is up, junpiter futbol was finally established towards e end of e year. more will come for sure!

year 2010 also marked e 3rd year of my blissful marriage and what's e best way to celebrate e wedding anniversary than to celebrate it just e both of you half a globe away from e red dot! oh ya, tradition goes on - joanne and me celebrated our 3rd year wedding anniversary at scotland! for e record, it all happened because my wifey mentioned she wanted to see a real castle! everything looked stable in year 2010 until we finally experienced something even more wonderful at christmas.

so after so many have been written for e past year 2010, its finally time for year 2011. i don't really know how new year resolution works, somehow it's a goal or a set of goals which we set before e start of e year and we will try to accomplish or achieve e goals by e end of year. truthfully say, im too lazy to check back what i've set for and anyway im gonna try setting my new year resolutions for e new year!

overall its just a couple of it....

1) my main priority this year will be either julip or jones, provide e best for her/him.
2) my career, per my usual slogan - more money less event!
3) spend equal time and provide equal love for both my wifey and futbol.
4) launching videos for junpiter futbol, hopefully able to receive compliments from all.
5) cut down on fast/junk food, lead a more healthier lifestyle!

i think thats about it ba! it might not be very specific but for those who follow my blog will know that i update my bloggy constantly. more and more details will be shared soon lah! once again here, i wish everyone who's reading my blog a happy new year 2011! huat ah!

e launching of this very own personal brand of mine is finally getting underway. e initial direction of launching took a twist and we're heading for an e-launching. e reasons for e sort of expected twist will be elaborated right after christmas and probably for this few minutes here, i shall focus on junpiter futbol.

business registration of this has been done today to be exact. most importantly, e name - junpiter futbol, has been secured. next would be domain names, email and etc. a plan has been tentative drafted out and it seems like nothing is going to stop me now. for e next coming few weeks, i believe it would be endless discussions and plannings with some of e most important characters mainly e co-actors and musicians. prior to that, it will be training and training. i'm already in e midst of setting up a coffee session with one of e most talented and anticipated directors in e local entertainment scene as well! waiting for him to return from japan ya.

as part of my planning, hope that everything could be smooth and we will get to wittness a new dimension of futbol coaching and file sharing in e new cyber world here in singapore. we're on e right track and comes christmas, new year, chinese new year and very soon..... please stay tune for more detail and rest assure to give me your biggest support!

completed my very first full marathon this morning with speng! e 42km run was indeed much more tougher than i expected. and when ive been through this morning was a nightmare - a nightmare which i would not want it to happen one more time. my limps were stretched to e maximum this morning and e moment i started to run, i suffered from cramps (limps) in less than 5mins! till a point where i couldnt run any further. i walked. holy christ, i just freaking cant imagine theres a day i cant run anymore!

it took me 6.5hrs for this entire run. i have to admit majority of e second half run was walking. speng, being e fittest one, encouraged and paced me throughout e race. he did 5hr plus for his first ever run last year but this year, he's willing to finish e run with me together. really appreciate that, bro!

money cant buy e experience, for that i totally agree. what ive experienced from 5am to 11am was something which probably i would never forget. imagine, mass-urinating at orchard canal with ladies walking at our backs, sunburn to my arms and face, applying of vaseline on my nipples, swallowing packets and packets of power gel during e run, openly littering of 100plus-cups at ECP and e final 150m run to e finishing line. phew.. im just glad that ive completed this run. right after e run, ive already confirmed with speng that we will be doing e one in year 2011! so scm 2011, see you again!

i knew e guys in this pic, some since kindergarden, primary school and even secondary school. last met with each others nearly 12yrs ago, i was so delighted to meet up with them at edwin's fundraising cum birthday dinner/gathering at bravo company! i never thought that i would be able to catch up with jeffrey at such an occasion but we did! everyone is doing great in their lifes and i wish everyone e best!

other than e 10 over years apart from jeffrey, this lady here, janice, was another 12 years of uncontactable! we knew each other when both of us were working at then suntec congress kopitiam as part-timer and guess what, e very first person who gave me e name of "jun" is her! coincidentally janice is currently edwin's business partner! well, after 12 years, ive managed to clear a doubt or perhaps a "myth" which has been buried deep in my heart which ive never thought that i would be asking her face to face - with regards to her family life. well well, i got e answer to that doubt during the party. not going to share with you guys here, haha!

after e sort of class cum school gathering at edwin's, justin suggested to go to mustafa to do some futbol shopping! hey, ive never been to mustafa in my life before!! im so excited! there we have got tonnes of great laughters while indulging ourselves in e futbol shopping. i never knew mustafa has such a great variety of jerseies actually, totally impressed! so e trip there was not wasted, we bought a futbol together!!

how to end e night? at around half past one in wee hour, we had a supper at jalan besar before justin rushed off for his once-in-a-lifetime preparation. and what's that? i shall let him do e annoucement in times to come!

e entire night out ended at around 2am, next day i woke up early and off joanne and me go, we did our one full day of shopping! check out our damage from e pic above! majority are meant for joanne's annual dinner & dance which will be taking place next week ya!

met hideaki at PS while having my half day OIL with joanne, e initial hideaki whom i know spoke english and probably he would be speaking english to save his life sort of thingy. but e hideaki whom i know now speaks near perfect mandarin! its not surprising to hear him in mandarin taking in consideration he's in e entertainment line.

so while catching up with him these days seems to be tough (due to his hectic work schedule), that 5mins of catching up was indeed e best moment though. now he has left LWS music school and will be flying off to taiwan in january. guess what, he's going to join up with famous taiwanese group, F.I.R! well, he's not going to be their group's latest inclusion but he has been employed to assist with e music work with e group! how does it sound? cool isn't it!

hideaki has been a very hardworking fellow since i know him and definitely i am happy with his progress in this entertainment line. ask any chinese here and they would tell you e best place for any music-related progression, that has to be taiwan! glad that hide made it! he did make a verbal invite for me to go over to taiwan for a stay at his place though, gonna check on e schedule for sure! what a 5mins catch up.

today is e pay day and im all ready to indulge myself in a shopping spree with my wifey at bugis! has been quite awhile since i last went shopping actually. although ive been saying im gonna start saving up this month, and today i start spending like nobody business!! haha! so what i've pampered myself today.... i bought a pair of pants, those 3-quarter folded type, a white top which comes with a scarf, a toni&guy shampoo and finally a japanese fashion magazine which comes with a freebie - head porter drum bag! aiyo, i seldom buy japanese magazine nowadays and e reason for that exceptional today was that head porter bag lor! my damage was slightly more than a 100bucks, that should be enough for this month though. indeed my wifey is right - shopping is great!

i dreamed of e happy big time. all of us gathered at a old warehouse, not sure of e location but probably somewhere at west coast, kallang or katong, it was turned into an indoor futsal court. all of us arrived with e same jersey, all black, we exchanged e blacks-like handshake swearing deep-inside buddy forever. there were some of our female schoolmates as well, should be there to join in e gathering. and finally we have got e game of our life...... 6:25am, i woke up.

no longer a dream

year 1996, i was a 15yrs old kid who was donning e jersey of singapore recreational club (src) in e fas youth league. our opponent then were history-full clubs such as tampines rover, kakit bukit and etc. well, i was full of ambition and felt that e club would not be able to bring me far.

14 years later, this club won e prestige singapore fa cup.

this is no more longer a dream, an amateur team has won one of e most established award in singapore football scene. just when i think that its almost impossible, src has transformed from a low division league team to a champion team. all these years, ive wittnessed e clubs progress and pretty amazed by how fast e team has progressed. for those who dont know, many former national or sleague footballers ply their trade under src's name after their stint at e highest level. that has showed that e club means business, they are serious about creating an upset in e local football scene by recruiting high-calibre players.

i am delighted to know that src has made it among e local best. probably they should start to revamp and plan for e next realistic step - challenge for a place in next seasons sleague. with their excellent finance backing, i believe src will be e next big club in e sleague. i will be their very first fan.

after leaving suntec singapore 7mths ago, subconsciously but not very willingly, ive been reminding myself not to get anywhere near e convention centre to meet up with e rest of csarc members. all these while ive been doing good, have been professional enough! yesterday for e first time after my departure, i am back to suntec singapore level-6 to attend an exhibition under e status of a "visitor"!

as you can see, my visitor pass does not indicate suntec singapore anymore, its marina bay sands! haha... no emo here but when i was first informed about this trip to suntec, i was feeling excited and delighted! i was like wooh.. finally i can be back in suntec walking at e mice area without feeling bad! ive always wanted to go back to e place where i was literally brought up since 17yrs old but due to sensitivity issue, i always hold back. now i am back, i am feeling good and i am feeling proud that i am home! all of a sudden, a strange strength of motivation filled my heart - i am going to bring e entire mice world down to my freaking foot!! haha!!

thats a very fast but yet enriching trip which ive embarked. last destinatin was london. when i talk about london, cant help mate it has got to be futbol talk again! shoo... shoo... for those not into futbol, just like my dear wifey, please do not proceed further.

compared to scotland, we took much much lesser pics over at london. e buildings were so english-style and probably we were have seen so much of scottish-english buildings, those presented to us in london were not a single bit impressive at all. worst, people mountain people sea! its just so crowded in london!! sometimes i am thinking it could be possible to walk pass a celebrity in london without you realizing it.. and what.. ive exchanged shoulders with a dragonforce (a band) guitarist - herman! his long curly hair caught my attention in e underground, before i am certain he was herman e guitarist, one of his friends called him as in "hey herman"! thats affirmative! all happened in split-second dude!

shopping was a disappointment for my dear wifey. apparently everything was expensiver and sadly our pounds were not meant for that spending. however saying that, i treated myself to my first ever EPL jersey - i bought an arsenal home jersey with customized printing at near 60pounds! of course i knew that e price would be slightly cheaper if im going to buy that jersey back in singapore but you know lah, e feeling of buying that at emirates was not e same! so when you see me in that jersey, ask me where i bought it!!! im gonna answer you proudly "i bought it from emirates stadium"!

okay, start now... my favourite trips in london would definitely be stamford bridge and e emirates! coincidentally my stay in london fell on one of chelsea's home game (vs blackpool). oh well, managed to convince joanne to accompany me there for photo-taking though. shot here shot there while walkin in e blues! someone even attempted to sell me game tickets but joanne was quick to brush that fellow off... save e details on that. next was e emirates stadium tour, fantastic eye-opener trip for sure! practically e emirates was built surrounding e ideas of arsene wenger. his manager was kind of wicked but i was totally impressed by every single detail which he has thought. today, emirates stadium stand proudly at london and i believe from now onwards, i will be following e european futbol more closely especially e scottish premier league.

for this trip, i didnt really buy much stuffs, as in ive planned to get certain stuffs from this UK trip but probably my expectation was way too heaven high - i felt disappointed. prior to this trip, i would imagine walking on a london street, there would be plenty of futbol stores at every corner... oh well, that's not e case. only managed to get famous piccadilly circus lilywhites and soccer scene at carnaby.

overall, an enriching free n easy trip for me. an eye-opener as far as futbol is concerned. i did uploaded some pics in my facebook, wont be putting up any here unless if theres anyone whos following my blog want to see?? sum it up, great trip, now jun has returned and will be better.

off to UK this sept with joanne. erm... scotland and england to be specific. 7days of roaming in scotland came to an end this morning, currently we are on e train bound for london, should be reaching in about 1hr's time. so probably before i start my london stay, let me blog about my feel on e scottish-stay!

ive enjoyed many exciting and memorable moments during my short stay in scotland. we met this guy, ross hutton, who' actually our guide for e north-island domestic land tour. he was a very interesting guy but kind of living a weird lifetsyle, haha. we booked this highlander trip through e internet prior to our departure to UK and we really had a fantastic time looking at water falls, farms, houses by e sea, loch ness, particularly loch ness left me with e deepest impression of all. first ive got to tell you i am a great follower of loch ness monster since young! and to be able to breathe e same air as nessie, touching e water which nessie perspires... that's a moment come true for this young lad here!

air was thin, sometime as low as 9deg cel, i still managed to go for an early morning jog in e town of inverness! i was in my shorts and jacket thinking i am all well-covered to battle e cold but i was wrong! e thing air made it hard for me to run. even though i clocked only just a short 30mins run, i know that jog has enhanced my stamina which in time will be benefical for my upcoming marathon debut! after e jog, believe it or not, i sweated!

no matter where im going, or what im doing, it will never be far from my beloved futbol. i was at this bar in e night catching champions' league - man utd vs rangers, live at inverness town. my favourite booze, jim beam, together with ross and gang, we watched e game till e end. normally i didnt really see much people in e town but comes futbol night, people with jerseies all appeared in e bar! typically scotts, they were there to cheer for e rangers! me too! e guys knew its a high expectation to beat e reds, e final scoreless draw was enough for them to applause after e final whistle!

most of e time, joanne and me would spend shopping at edinburgh. truthfully say, i didnt really enjoy shopping at e streets, not especially if i couldnt get e thing which i want!! shit! i wanted to get this jersey from JJB, it stated purchase comes with free prinint but when i wanted to make e payment, they said machine down! i was like f**k, could it be because i am an asian??!! i didnt want to be sensitive but i couldnt help it. eventually i didnt spend a single cent in e shop! all my hopes are in london now. i heard people mentioning london could be a much more expensiver city to shop than edinburgh, but to my wifey, wh0 cares! pounds are changed, as far as my wifey is concerned, all have to go!! haha!

this scottish trip we met some really nice fellows. too much photos to be uploaded, probably just one here to show we've been through! more exciting blogging from london i suppose!

right after e intensive gathering at kanchanaburi saiyok camp aka gunners' camp, i am heading for another gunners' location - arsenal football club @ highbury! will be departuring for UK this coming thursday night and comes next next monday, i will be touring emirates stadium, my first EPL stadium for e very first time. although i ain't no fan of any EPL team, to think about visiting an EPL club is really exciting. hopefully it will not be too much for me to handle though! will blog more about e magnificent stadium in times to come!

back from thailand, away from e sun. now i am a superb tanned ah-pu-ne-ne! i rated myself as one of e most fairest among all army personnels as i am constantly applying sunblock on my body! e rest were not so lucky though!

e bunk in saiyok camp really brought back lots of memories. although it has been 7yrs, i remembered almost every single detail of how e bunk, garage and canteen looked like. its all e same!

compared to 7yrs ago, e fatek which we went through as a reservist now was definitely not so hectic. not too sure if we were already seasoned gunners or painly just immuned, e movement was not as rushing as i initially thought. we have got sufficient rest in e night and hell yes, that's very important to me!! screwed me all you want in e day but give me e night to rest!

next, all deployment grounds were e same - as in we were there years ago and now we were back to e same spot! we were not supposed to post any army-related photos and if you notice, i am posting weather-shots only. and those were really quite nice shots i feel. e only thing was i couldnt show you a decent photo of how fucking hot e weather was! i dunno leh - how to show you guys photos of how fucking hot e weather was??? *shit*

i am no more longer checking on what's e daily temperature like while we were suffering from sunburn in e 9D8N outfield. probably i've already accepted e fact that i couldn't possibly do anything to avoid e (sun) burn even if i know e temperature hit 40deg cel! lan-lan lor...

weather was one thing, fortunately i've got a group of really good mates for accompany throughout these period of incredible outfield. gun-5 was e best and if i need to point out one figure which made my dayz in kanchanaburi, he has to be shortie-steven-lee!! rest assured if he's around, there would definitely be laughter around! *shortie, are you reading my blog here!!*

so what were we doing in e outfield?? while waiting for e fire mission to come in e sun, we did lots of unbelieveable stuffs! like?? catch dragonflies lor.... play with ants lor *ants ants, where are you..*, counting camou-net leafs... doing nails, some of them even suggested we should bring kites along for e outfield!

ninja vans brought us activities too! we would find our ways to get close them to place order for our meals. prices had significantly increased as compared to our first purchased 7yrs ago however thing remained unchanged was... cha-mee and cha-pung were still power lor! could not recall how much i've spent on ninja van but it did rip off some cash from me for sure!

anyway, rain or shine, we were always there waiting for mission!

lastly e R&R was not that fantastic though! e entire itinerary was similar to 7yrs ago, perhaps with little credit to e management team, we were at e death railway museum which i think we've not been before, e rest were e same as 7yrs ago. nothing to shop during our 1hr of R&R!! you got it - just ONE HOUR! anyway im glad that its back to our normal life now. we were there to achieve a good result, and we did it with a recon IIA, there shouldnt be any more outfield in my remaining 3yrs of ICT now. i've did my part in whatever way i can in e best battery... hopefully that's e last one although i do miss hanging around with my mates, especially oversea!

probably e most amusing award ive received in this life - army 5years service award. i mean i dont mean to stay that long in e army, its all because of e national service and e COMPULSORY 10years cycle of in-camp training, if not do you think all of us would stay that long to receive this award?? haha.... gun-do!

wonder why i focused ONLY on e number on this photo? thats e number to reach me when im away in thailand for my in-camp training. just dial e country code if im not wrong should be +66. talk about this thai-number, i should thank elvin for helping me to buy this thailand pre-paid card. at least for sure my phone bill will not be rocket high at e end of this month!

this is not my first time to thailand for my military duty. in fact, during my NSF dayz, my unit travelled to thailand and new zealand in which we spent in average 3weeks at e respective country. right after i return from this thailand training, i will be heading to scotland and england for my getaway! for every trip i made, i make it a point to get a badge from e country onto my backpack! no different this time ya!~

e scorching sun got into me today. nope.. i should say for e very first time in my footballing life, i retaliated to a tackle. e desire to win, together with e unfriendly weather, made me lose my usual cool to behave like a barbarian! i shouted, gripped hold of him to prevent him for running away from me, split-second later e man in black came rushing over to separate us out. you know, ive got no idea why i gripped hold of that fellow and i thought i was about to beat him up! haha.. e next moment, i calmed down and resume my game. i was sharing with joanne on what happened and i really find it amusing! haha... its just that one-moment-thingy which has never happen in my life before... haha. i will always remember this.

has your life ever been influenced by anyone? for me, there were mostly sportsmen who appeared in my filled-with-ambition life especially during my teenager life. there was a fandi ahmad in e early-90s where i would follow his traditional malay-way of "touch-my-heart" greeting whenever i shook hand with somebody else. then there was this miura kazuyoshi (KING KAZU) in e mid-90s where i would wear lots of friendship bands on my wrist just liked him! late-90s, early-2000, mid-2000 and so on...... e name list goes on.

i think because of our environment, lifestyle, the constant interactions with people, there bound to be someone who will influence our lifes one way or another. i was exchanging sms with a secondary school mate this entire noon and got to know that i was actually e person who influenced him to pick up football. come and think about it, it sounds really amazing. i mean what i was doing (playing football) merely was doing a sport which i'm deeply in love with and because of that passion and UNCONDITIONAL love, friends around me were impressed and got influenced. dont you think that it's really amazing? same goes to me, subconsciously i wanted to be e second fandi ahmad or miura kazuyoshi back in my school dayz just because both of them were real good at what they were doing. without a doubt, to certain extend, i idolized them! was it e case here with my friend?? haha.... definitely not.

i believe i did ever influence people in my near 30 years of life but i really pray that those were healthy and positive influence. on a serious note, let me substain this healthy and positive influency and in times to come, subsequent people who are fated to be influenced by UNCLE jun will benefit big time!

with great honour, i was invited by planet football to a private close door futbol session on tuesday late night with e world greatest futbol freestyle, jeon kwon aka JK from korea. i couldn't believe i would have e rare opportunity to stand by his side in real let alone play futbol with him! as in ive been following his futbol videos so closely all these while and now i am playing with him at e cage. our very first conversation was he asking me if i am a japanese as he stared at e "JFA" on my jersey! probably that explained why he didnt give me any chance during e futsal session coming up.

he's kind of a quiet guy but you could see his passion for e game and e effort he has put in to master all e tricks. basically in short, he's extraordinary amazing. after some tricks sharing, together with his manager and a couple of local freestylers, we had an amazing game of our lifes!

well, i think e futsal session needs no detailed write-out. i am e monkey throughout e game although i did well enough to score 1 goal against JK's team! e futsal game was no ordinary game mind you. we could easily get pass one marker from another with simple passing but e world best and e other freestylers had other idea - they would get pass you with their trickery footworks. no direct running but "panna"! i was "panna" aka "lobang" quite a handful of times. during e game, i used whatever way and posture i ever know to defend against e trickeries however it seems like "panna" was meant to cut e traditional defending off and humilated you on e pitch! whenever each successful "panna" was executed, there would be a cheer from e team. in fact, that's what they were trying to do, putting e ball into e net was secondary.

one of e best moves of e night was when i was defending JK from e attack. before i could figure out what his legs were going to do, he has flipped up e ball up to my chest, over my sight, across my 1.78m height body! and that very moment, e entire world seems to have stopped while i motionlessly watch e ball slowly floated over and eventually out of my vision.... cheers followed. i was beaten by JK. it was expected but i couldnt describe e real-time feeling when that moment happened merely just 3 seconds thingy. amazing.

never going to leave e night without a photo taken with JK. i think right after this session, my admiration of this freestyler has increased, going to follow his videos even more closely from now on. in e meantime, gonna master more trickeries before e next such invitation comes again!

when i can hear rain in e night, i cant help but start wondering where on earth in singapore will flood again! joanne was saying singapore should have holiday for raining day, because its so dangerous to go out there, what if we got struck by a falling tree?

so how is singapore going to react to e constant flood? last night, MM Lee quoted saying there wont be total solution to flooding we just have to be prepared. oh well, when you hear these kind of statements, i cant help but blame e authority for e lapse of duty in ensuring safety when disaster hit. but from e mouth of MM Lee, its kind of what to do.. MM Lee already said so... cant be help, lan lan lor.....

to be fair, i understand that e amount of rain is huge for e month of june and july. does it mean that e world is coming to e end? that could be beyond any singaporean's imagination, what about this - is singapore sinking soon? hoohoo.. i remember came across this article few years back reporting about a huge icebergh which"broke free" from either e south or north pole, floating towards brazil. and when this iceberg eventually melted, singapore will be half-sunk! how true is that, i really dont know but hope that it wont happen, really. anyway can you imagine how HUGE this iceberg is when we say sinapore will SINK when e iceberg eventually melted?

a beggar cant be a chooser. today ive been reminded once again how miserable life can be in a fully automated realistic life. for all you wanted to put a full-stop, you realised it has reached a point where a full-stop is not applicable, and the further and deeper you go before you realizing, ego is wounded.

nobody to be blamed except myself. self-disappointment leads to frustration. i nearly lost control of my temper. for years ive never lose my temper liked what i've done, and e fact was e pin for my grenade was pulled by nobody else but me. despite me working real hard since i was slapped with e fact, i couldnt help but accepted tonnes of nasty sarcasm. i feel bad but i can do nothing. ironically, my reaction towards this issue reminds me of my dad's. i've always wanted to be different from him but no matter how much effort i've put in to avoid his shadow, i felt that im going through what he has been. i wouldnt want that.

world cup is reaching e end, im glad that my life will be back to normal.

grand opening was over. perhaps not many people would understand what our team has went through over e past 1week or so. has been real busy with preparation especially with e arrival of "ah-gong" aka mr. sheldon g. adelson, e whole establishment simply turned every single stone over to make sure it's cleaned, oh hell yes, that digusting.

during this period of time, i've did lots of soul searching as well. not because i wanted to but e people whom i've met during this period of time really inspired me. actually, not really inspired but i would say, finally there's someone who knocked some senses into me! i almost forgotten what i really want and what i really can do, not until senses-knocking session hit. i nearly lose a battle which i could easily win. well, i've recovered from e crisis and back as a better person now. ironically, it's e motherhand from las vegas and macau who saved me from drifting away. they should know who they are and i am really thankful.

not sure if anyone of you has ever known someone who's trying to be good but no matter how seriously they want their life to be back in a proper manner, they will always encountered obstacles? i've met a couple of such people in my life. in e news recently, a local artist was once again in e spotlight - for e wrong reason. i wouldn't say i really know her well. i got to know this artist through our common friend some times back.

anyway i feel that we could have better control our attitude, not as in being sarcastic but be sincere. even if you're telling someone off, be sincere about it. i believe e person would be able to accept it, be it instantly or gradually. that's jun's philoshy. junphilosphy would definitely attracts doubts and debates but hey, why not give it a try? would you want your everyday to be a stressful one? would you want to invite fights and arguements everyday? think about it. life could be some much easier.

e past week had been wonderful. futbol under e sun... e usual tasty cafe latte... well, e week passed so fast that i couldn't have a chance to reflect on what i've missed out actually. you know some weeks pass real slow and i am dragging my day but god was kind to me this week though.

over e forever-looking-forward weekend, its e DVD week! my DVD collection welcomed another 24pieces of movies! to raise e celebrative mood to another higher level, i bought a long-overdued DSLR!! deng... deng.... his name is Canon EOS 500D! hey kid, welcome to e tan family!

coming week would be another new week of actions - event approaching and to satisfy e ego of e big men at e venue, i think i would have to stay low and do my freaking job which i would deem as MY OWN AREA OF JOB... e rest i would let e nature takes it course and finally, GOD BLESS!

attended killabala at e cage today. other than e wass & gautier from paris, i met lots of local freestylers. street freestyle futbol is still very new to singapore. if you're going to say there are only a handful, lets say probably 20pax of local freestylers around in singapore, today i met 7-8pax of them at e carnival. they were awesome with e tricks. each of them put in 2-3hrs of training time aday to reach their current standard. For a man who's reaching 30s and placing work as his priority, that amount of training time does not work for him - no time sia. i'm glad that i met all of them here but i would bet my last penny that my only practising time would be e time where i'm warming up for a futbol session - that could be those east coast futsal session or once in a blue moon 11-aside sunday game. anyway, my vision and passion for e beautiful game has risen to another higher level. good news for me myself but definitely a bad news for my wifey.

missing out on a session with sean, e world greatest futbol freestyler last year, this time round god was kind to e young man here and this humble young man was granted his wish of mingling with sean's team, S3 Society - watt (pronounce as what) who was on e right of e pic & gautier (pronounce as go-T-air) on e left of e pic!

e guys speak english and we exchanged some ideas on futbol as well. among e two, gautier seems more approachable as he enlightened me on some of e tricks by showing and correcting me. some of e tricks which were taught to me were so hard but strangely this morning, all e tricks which i've learned from them looked so easy!

getting involved in such occasion was really enjoyable. all e while i am observing e performance which was put in by e french by e side, hell it was so easy for them to execute some ground moves and even tricks in e air! especially when "panna" was done, opps well "panna" is kind of move where futbol players push e ball pass in between opponents' legs, domestically we call it "LOBANG"! in europe, it's actually a big game where 2 players trying to LOBANG each other. nobody cares about scoring but see who can skillfully push e ball pass e legs and that's a win. you guys can catch lots of that in e youtube!

friday is e killabala at e cage, probably i should drop by to enjoy e moment of freestyle. quotation of e day... "do we strictly need to juggle a size-4 ball for freestyling?" asked jun... gautier replied, "not really, if you're confortable with e normal size-5, just go ahead, it's freestyle...frrreeeeeeee......"

with all due respect, i could be e history-maker at mbs! after a series of negative reports on newspaper over e very first conference event, e first trade show which i am coordinating had its debut at e expo hall and amazingly it scored e highest. all eyes were on my event especially after what had happened e week earlier. main organizer had expressed his delight with e straits time claiming e event was an overall success!

im glad that i've come this far to acccomplish this very first successful trade show. e satisfaction after e challenging event was much better than what i've acquired from apec at my former workplace. people look down on us. people are standing by e newspaper to see how we fail at e bay. well, every failure is a lesson learnt. i learned through e hard way for e very first event at mbs and i think i've become a better man!

just one event, i've got to know more friends/colleagues from various departments. as expected, not everyone is as helpful as my former client services team but definitely everyone knows their job. bit by bit, we gonna put everyone together and trust me, we could be one of e best. i am anticipating e best to come, perhaps not anytime soon but i know it will come during my dayz at e bay!

respond for e then definite WWII shrine @ macritchie reservoir suddently fell dramatically in a span of just 5mins. many of those who have been receiving my sms updates were not aware that e organizer here had just rejected his newly joined company's boss's request of going back to e office to help out with an event JUST because he felt that he should take up e responsibility of ensuring e trip goes smoothly.

then within 5mins, people started pulling out and eventually HURRAY e trip was cancelled. i was left wondering if i should put my new job at stake initially. was it worth e risk? none of those people understand e effort which i've put in to make this trekking trip materalized. ok, trip is postponed till further notice. i don't know when will it be but somehow or rather, i will think twice when planning this type of adventure.

late last night, i received another invitation to a local futbol occassion in may. great futbol freestylers, wass and gautier from e recent volcano ash europe, are invited to singapore for a week of futbol activities. arha.. you wouldnt believe that i am (once again) invited to e session and e management of this invitation is arranging for a 1-to-1 session for me with them! interaction with these freestylers are definitely an enriching one. these are e professionals who frequent redbull freestylers competition and they could make ball juggling looks like a daily routine. pretty looking forward to e session although i do have e history of missing out on these occassions. keep my fingers crossed.

"from today onwards, you will be part of e history", this was what our ceo, tom arasi said yesterday for our very first team rally at e hotel. add on to that, individually i became part of e history by becoming one of e first to check-in to e marina bay sands hotel!

thursday evening was just like normal working day except i was waiting for an email - an email to inform us if we are to proceed with our hotel simulation. e information indeed came in VERY LATE but positively, i am becoming part of e history! room was big and spacious, best was e bath tub where i soaked for full 30mins!

e very next day was e team rally. everyone seems to be really hyped up. even jonathan was so excited and motivated even though he's just into his first week of job! when you think about that, it's actually a good thing to be motivated. at e moment, something hit my head as in literally "something" hit my head - perhaps i should sitting still to focus on my event now. honeymoon period has indeed been over and time to get serious with work. preparation work of opening and events are slowly filling my desk. comes monday, i will start shooting!

friends who know me will know that i am no supporter of any football clubs. well, for e derby-game tonight, i am rooting for e red devil. after decided to give SHE concert a miss tonight, i managed to catch e derby game at urban. e game tonight was particularly exciting especially these days, i've been doing lots of researching on manchester!

oh ya, if everything is smooth, i could be at old trafford this coming summer! nothing is firmed up as currently e trip is still in e planning stage. right up to my sleeves, a site tour to e old trafford is definitely a MUST! probably if time is on my side, a short visit to e man city's and glasgow ranger's could materalize. e more i blog, e more excited i am.

this could be e last weekend before MBS soft opening, instead of fully enjoying every moment, i feel sicky yet again. i've got a terrible night before and hopefully tonight will be a better one. drink more water now~

attending an MAGNIFICIENT service course today. this course will last for 2days so i still have got one more day to go! as compared to some of e previous courses which I've attended, this group of participants are considered a more elderly type. I happened to sit with a group of non-english speaking participants and guess what, I enjoyed their accompany! our common language is actually cantonese sia!!

this group of uncles are actually from e transport team - valet parking team. all of them have decade years of valet parking experience prior to this new challenge! i won't say they were bullying me today but most of e time, i will have to be prepared to stand up and present our discussion to e class JUST because i speak ENGLISH! haha!

come again, this group of accompany plus this course really reminds me kuali's dayz. i still remember joining suntec singapore's kuali on 17 june and we spent nearly a 2-3 weeks doing orientation. perhaps that is why everytime when i am on course, automatically my memory brings me back to KUALI! i wonder how everyone's doing... jamie ah-y is working in london now, ryan studying in KL, andrie working in sales? kane working at a fine-dining restaurant, andrew selling cars? mr. wong working in vietnam and many many more. i wish everyone from that era is fine and doing well in their individual adventure. not sure if anyone of them does know that i blog about them? perhaps they don't even know that they are part of my growing up memory. haha... in case you don't know why i posted e locker photo up there - one of them was my locker back in KUALI dayz! walking out from e past. just returned from urbanspoon, had a conclusion on how i would forget e past. despite explaining so much on my final conclusion, i think e guys still don't get what i'm trying to bring across - i choose to forget what i wanted to.

drawing a line to separate e old memory from e new, i am starting afresh. i would not want to hold on to e past simply because i want to move on. i cherish e sweet memory but that should not be an obstacle in life. sweet memory is just like an experience tool to move forward. there's no reason why my regular blog-reader friends should disagree with me. *i realized that i've got some regular blog-reader friends hor*

have been starting to get busy at my new workplace. actually i get sleepy easily at work. perhaps i've spent too much time sitting, not moving around. although i know that my body has been feeling restless, i will not slow down - will try to keep up. e world will not slow down just because i lack of beauty sleep. so what to do.. in order to excel, i've got to carry on fight lor!

its been quite awhile since i last chatted with ben. especially now when he's stationed in kuala lumpur, hard to sit down for a coffee though. i met him via msn this morning and was msn-ing with him. you know, everytime i chatted with ben, he will always have exciting story which will make me really envy him. this time no exception.

i noticed his head-title for his msn was something along this line - he was in japan, hiroshima. then after msn-ing with him, realized that currently he's doing j-league club assessment! guys, imagine this, you're paid to walk around famous j-league clubs, rubbing shoulders with well-known players like endo, ogasawara, nakamura, just to name a few, and e fabulous deal, watch "live" j-league games which is considered e best in asia!

well, not just this japan's trip, ben has been constantly travelling around asia for world-class futbol actions. to e best of my knowledge, he has been to uzbekistan, syria, china to follow up on
asian youth championship and gosh, he was in south africa recently for some world cup duty! don't ask me if i wish to be like him, those who know me will give you a definite answer. i am keeping all options open, not as though i've not asked him for a job at afc before!

long bus ride

zeng-hu *hokkien* made statement annoucing to e whole of singapore that they are stopping all long distance bus services. haiz... in fact long distance bus ride is my favourite sia. soon no more liao lor.

sometime early last year or much earlier, i still blogged about how much i missed e dayz where i took bus 51 all e way from buona vista back to hougang. back then, i would listen to my cd player while reading my japanese futbol magazine. this was always e routine for years. e time which i've spent alone on e long bus ride, watching trees and houses moving past me, made me reflected on alot of things such as life, futbol, chiobu and etc. i really miss those long bus ride. ain't much longer though.

when zeng hu made e statement, that means that they mean business. goodbye long ride. i think singaporean will have one lesser method of doing "brain-yoga" now. anyone understand what i'm writing here?? haiz...

ubin for e fourth time

ever since client services alumni recreation club (csarc) was established in year 2007, this was e fourth time i cycled at pulau ubin. truthfully say, cycling is not really my forte but none of e member would disagree with what im gonna say here - i really enjoy e accompany of each and every one who was involved at e island!

attendance for e trip was not exceptionally overwhelming. e laughters and sweat gathered were more than enough to fill e air yesterday! weather was real damn warm, no doubt, but overall it was really an enjoyable session at e north-east island!

ironically, csarc was started by me and sam in early year 2007. it all started by a simple after-work jogging session. gradually, jon and e ladies joined in. we would have regular jogging session down e stretch of boat quay, nicholl highway, swimming at suntec city level-5, k-lunch during working days, various makansutra-like gatherings and etc. e group expanded beyond control till we realized that e guys are slowly leaving e company and eventually e word "alumni" came into e picture.

construction worker OR engineer?

taking my initiative to another new level. today i went onsite for fam-tour. how to describe e experience at e on-going construction marina bay sands? dusty, muddy, endless flights of stair, unbearable torturing warm weather, dangling nobody-care electrical cables, free 'n' easy roam/sleep around workers, red white tapes, fire alarm testing voice over and over and over and over and over and over again and again and again and again.... spent nearly 5hrs onsite and i'm totally drained out after that.

despite putting on something not familiar on myself like a striking vest, rubber shoes and helmet, i am still feeling excited over e whole project as per my first day of work. there's this moment where i was standing at level-5 ballroom foyer looking out, i saw suntec singapore - i think i miss e place where i grew up. hey, don't be sensitive guys, its just a comment.

so how to destress? tell you what, i've just signed up for a "HOW TO COPE WITH STRESS" seminar at suntec singapore on 10 april. this is a channel newsasia seminar which yun-jie is running though. i came to know about this talk through e tv ad and i believe it will be useful. listen to what e experts have to say, who knows i might really improve e way of how i can cope with e stress! for those who are interested, please approach sistics for more information!

first week

this lovely boy here has survived e very first week at his new workplace. despite just 7days into my new job, i have unintentionally notice e different working traits in e american establishment. imagine my boss dropped us an email half an hour prior to knocking off timing, saying "TGIF, nothing to do and you may leave for e day, have a great weekend, see you next week!". truthfully say, this is e first time i've experienced such a kind note from a boss!

e fellow colleagues there in my department (MICE) are kind and friendly except a couple of ladies who don't seems to SMILE even if I took e initiative to smile at them, f**k it... my first day was awesome too. I walked into e office, was introduced to my desk and right round my visible vicinity, many familiar faces welcomed me like, roy, subash, saun, brenda, rebecca and etc.. e list goes on, i saw bernard, my campmate working with e IT team, i saw e other guy (don't know his name) working as a VIP host under casino section, saw peter, of my my futbol friends, working at casino call center and lots more. when you gather 10,000 people together at a workplace, i think that's what you will be expecting - meeting tonnes of familar faces under one roof!

i'm looking forward to this weekend. i will have a good rest and comes monday, i will be commencing my clietn interaction, email correspondence, discussion, meeting and whatever you call it, I am starting to WORK this coming monday! most probably some of my friends are waiting for my update here, and there you go!

chinese there's this saying "一眨眼很快就过去", simply say everything passes with just a blink. i am officially a suntec alumni now. when i think about e times which i've spent at e centre, it's really nothing but just fond memories. it's only today where i really feel slight hallow and lonely - realizing that i've got no one to la-kopi with, no one to lunch together and no one to say "hi, busy today?" sort of things e moment my eyes caught up with a familiar face in e centre.

grown up shouldn't say that! it's part and parcel of life where i'm closing a chapter here with my beloved centre while commencing a new one at e other side of e bay. farewell is always hard, especially after so many donkey years, but life goes on. in fact, for those who followed me, my life, this far, should congrat me though! hurray! i am finally moving on to a greener pasture!

e hardest and saddest part of this whole departuring was probably e first few days after my tendering and e last few days towards e end. i remembered peihong-jie approached me, describing how sad she was when she first heard of my resignation. her eyes were teary while we were chatting. all i could do then was to stop her from going further - i felt e calling of e tears too. won't forget e advices which our nagger mr. koh has given me. as a matter of fact, mr. koh is e one who has given or literally provided me with what i've got today! from education to promotion.... he has never stopped giving me advancement.

there are so many people in suntec singapore whom i'm gonna thank however those sincere thank you notes are not easy to pen down in this entry. last week, i've sent out numerous emails expressing my gratitude to clients, contractors, acquaintances and friends. usually i am a talkative man with many many words. in this instance, my brain is shut, my mouth is stuffed with invisible doughnuts and my ten fingers suddenly lost all their memories - they couldn't recognize e alphabets on e keyboards! eventually, a simple thank you note was still penned and i really hope that e names which i've included in e email would be able to receive that.

whatever i need to do, i've done. towards e last few days, i've been trying to replay all e wonderful moments which i have had while working in e centre. my memory will never fail to dig out e kuali segment. till now, i would still remember e laughters and tears which we've all shared at level-1. and now i've got another new set of fond memory which i've gonna upload to my tiny brain! that's e client services segment! few years down e road, i'm certain that i might forget some of you who i used to share e same laughters and tears with, however rest assured that i'll keep all e photos which we've taken during my tenure to refresh myself!

so much has been written, i've got enough. i thank everyone who i've met during my years in centre, i thank everyone who has given me guidance, cooperation and confidence. i thank everyone who has given me a reason to smile when i think of suntec singapore. i will never forget e great times in e office. and finally, i will never forget e feeling of putting on a suntec singapore uniform when i was 17yrs old!

family trip

long overdue family trip to HK, glad that everyone has got a great time in e cooling weather country. e trip was not just about food, there were plenty of walks, sightseeing as well as reunion (with edern)!

my impression of hongkong are old streets, run-down houses and tall buildings. true enough, those were what welcomed me daily during our stay.

e variety of goods available was great however due to e culture and weather differences, we did not manage to SPEND as much as we wanted to.

china took back hongkong at this venue in 1997, we were there at 2006 and now, 4years down e memory lane, both of us were back here (again) in year 2010.

can you imagine an advance, highly-developed country like ours, couldn't access to any world cup football this coming summer? i can't be bothered what's e latest update now but apparently we're not getting any world-class action in june. e above article was on e front page of e paper and it posted "what's no-1 in singapore's online chatter?". you guess it - singaporean can't get to watch world cup football in june! SOoo.. does that mean we can f**k out our comments and unhappiness on e website and national newspapers? YES, OF COURSE! F**K IT! WORLD CUP LEH!

i've been telling joanne that i'm gonna bring her to south africa to watch e games LIVE! (that's IF i'm gonna strike e lottery within these few months to come) even if i can't afford a trip to south africa, or at least a trip to an asian football fantantic country would allow me, or perhaps us, to soak into e world cup atmosphere! sit in a football pub, booze and balls, everyone in jerseies, countries' flag canyon-ed on e face and bla bla bla... sounds great isn't it!

and what if i'm not going anywhere???

OMG. if our red and green colour leaders couldn't secure e rights to broadcast e games, i think i might be travelling up north, join up with those ah-bang ah-deh to watch those astro channels. *even malaysia gets to broadcast world cup* anyway, if e government is talking about improve e standard of our football, kindly ENSURE e world cup action could be broadcasted in e nation. on my end here, i better renew my passport and stand-by more custom white cards!

feeling good

i'm feeling great! i've been attending quite a handful of weddings since late last month. all e wedding dinners which i've attended were close classmates of 10 over years and close colleagues. played a minor part in e "brother" thingy during cabell's wedding last thursday and tomorrow will be at orchard hotel attending christopher's wedding. delighted to be involved in all these close friends' weddings and i believe e newly-wed would be happy to receive our blessing too ya!

for e past 2 months, some of my comments have been magnified which resulted into unwanted attention. those were really some unintentional heart-felt comments which i've posted on fb and surprising welcomed some annoying feedbacks. joanne and a close friend said my comments were so misleading which unnoticeably attracted some sensitivities. i am not sure if e people nowadays are so hyper-sensitive that they really read my mind before i can comprehend myself or are they so damn free trying to figure out what i'm trying to hint. nevertheless, what has happened shows that there are really people out there who wanna show a fair bit of concern for me - i don't care if its on a positive or a negative basis. out of a sudden, i feel like an artist facing e paparazzi!

this is one damn show which needs nobody to tell e world, how DAMN GOOD THIS MOVIE IS! i am not particularly a romance-movie lover but my desire to watch e show grew after catching a glimpse of e trailer while watching a superb lame movie earlier last week! what i liked about this movie was its "happily ever after" kind of ending. some movies might have real fantastic plots however e endings suck big time! once again, it's proven you need no BIG CASTS for a BIG MOVIE! just when you think that i'm going to blog about e plot, haha.. worth weekend ticket rate, WATCH It YOURSELF!!

there's this saying, to be a true sengkanger, you've got to know HOW TO FLY A KITE at e sengkang open field! in order to abide to e rule, in order to be a true sengkanger, today, yes today, i went kite-flying!

other than a short trip to ikea this early morning and participated in e house-warming of my neighbours, in fact both joanne and i have been doing nothing until e kite-flying invitation call came in. considered my last kite-flying was way back to my childhood dayz, i thought my skill today was awesome good!

almost one full week away from work, indeed i really have got my well-deserved break. activities ranging from various house-warming, futbol, oversea golf, jamming, shopping and etc. finally i managed some real peaceful sleep in e night, knowing that there would not be any late-night or worst-still midnight calls coming in which ultimately affected my entire night sleep. another year has ended in style and this break couldn't have come at a better time. recharging well and ALMOST really for e new year.

last evening, i attended a wedding dinner in which ive classified as e my wedding of e year! ive got some photos taken with some of my very best schoolmates and because e camera was not mine, im gonna wait for e photos to be loaded up to my fb and shall share with you guys soonest!

completed by my very first 18-holes in malaysia palm resort berhad yesterday! that came at a great price lor - both my legs are sunburned! lucky i was "hardworking" enough to apply e famous sunblock lotion on my arms as well as face!

e experience gained over there was an enriching one for sure. i was away from e game for some months and to achieve what i've set for myself, i'm delighted and satisfied! my performance with e driver was somehow astonishing! managed to hit quite a distance for my tee-off however e direction might not always be at my favor! haha!!

so already planning for e next trip though. hopefully another oversea golf trip can be arranged real soon, perhaps bintan? cool!
