Family Is Priority

julip is 25th months old today. joanne just turned 33yrs old last week. and im 32yrs this year. one of the most cliche terms to use in my blogging; time flies.

well, one actually get enlightened in almost every corner which one turns into. for me, i have always know the corner which ive always wanted to turn into. the name of that corner is football. i mapped out the route to that corner since i was young and im glad that i am still heading in the right direction.

its because of junpiter futbol, i met many interesting profiles. some really inspired and enlightened me deeply. while listening to their stories, i learned. not only vision was broadened, most importantly i found what i have missed out in life while searching for that corner.

these days, apart from working and writing, i have been spending quality time with my family. well so to speak, priority in my life has taken a great turn since the birth of julip. now, the young pretty is all over my head. i just cant seems to praise enough of my wife who has put in tremendous effort and dedication in teaching our young pretty so well. although i am blogging here, i am never shy to feel so proud of both of my gals at home.

the family time which we have this year are amazing. we did a fair bit of travelings. particularly, our trip to tokyo earlier this year was an unforgettable one with probably one small wrong reason, the trip which we made to bintan during julips birthday was fabulous too.

careers in both event and junpiter futbol are taking its course well. since last october, i am already been promoted to a senior exhibition manager, a position which i have never really thought of achieving to be honest. junpiter futbol is flying all over the region and more people are recognizing us.

i guess god has been kind to me. moving on to the last quarter of the year, i am anticipating more action and happiness. till the next post, enjoy and may all happiness fall on you, and of course on me and my family. boa sorte...

what happened these days

i cant seems to remember whens e last time i last done any blogging here. i still love blogging though. ok, let me do a quick update on my current life and lifestyle, and not for any other purpose, but more for personal timeline recording.

my dearest daughter has just turned 1yr old last week. that means ive been a daddy for 1 year! hell, you wont believe this is a great achievement and something worth mentioning and recording.  as a parent now, my priority in life is so different from before - i look at things in a different way of perspective, my discussion with camp mates, colleagues and friends are unable to get away from my young family and etc. simply say, my priority in life has to be my daughter, no one else.

julip has been a well-behaved kid after all despite her showing of temper and her usual crying which at times which caused me and my wifey to nearly lose our cool. it got ultimately worst if shes down with fever or cough - practically she dont sleep in e night! having said all these, she's still a lovely kid to be with. watching her grow is a blessing.

career is stable and i gotten my first car early this year. although joanne has quitted her job to look after julip as a full time housewife, burden is not a major concern. in fact, i can concentrate more on my career knowing that julip will be taken good care of by her mummy.

junpiter futbol is progressing extremely well after e first year. this second year attracted some of e local football fraternities attention and network is slowly building up. im seeing lots of potential in junpiter futbol and i really wish to go into that full time soon. i wont rush though as i still need e dough.

some quick update on my parents and brother.. wenda got married this year. cynthia is an extremely nice lady and she is so humble and respectful even though she has a great family background. nice catch, bro! mother was not in a good health in the past months but shes recovering and i think shes doing better now. father has officially "retired" but to pass e days and time, of course to be able to enjoy a couple of drinks, he cant stop working - hes currently assisting his friends in some painting job. recently just heard that he took up hotel stewarding job too. personally i see some improvement from my old man and hope that he can continue to lead such a healthy and positive life.

well, thats it. ive got no time to relook at what ive written above. bet its more than sufficient for e necessary timeline recording purpose. ciao...

virgin trip

last post was in january? i really got a shock though - have been so long since i last blogged. we bought julip on her first ever virgin oversea trip to bangkok. prior to that, plenty of research on google, passport application, new travel case sourcing and etc, in fact all processes have been troublesome but sweet. in a flash, 3d2n passed and we were back to e red dot. e most worried part was e flight journey - julip would cry on and off in e plane and for sure that made us, e parents, instant "celebrity". we took that in pride as we were training our young one. ask again, how many would have a chance to bring their just-reached 8mths old infant abroad? e tan family did! anyway, we learnt a lot from this trip, of cause we did enjoy ourselves too. so let's look forward to e next one - hopefully its in sept.

goodbye ah-ma

angmo 99yrs old, chinese 100yrs old, my dear ah-ma passed away last friday night at home, peacefully in her sleep. at first i was worried that the family couldn't take it but honestly, we were all prepared to face this day due to her old age. think in another way, god had relieved her from all pain from now on.

for the past few days rushing from sengkang to hougang to yishun and back to hougang and sengkang, it had been very tiring especially for a new driver like me. it seems like the acquisition of my new transport machine was meant for a purpose.

ah-ma's image in my memory suddenly zoomed back to the time where she was still staying with ah-yi. her neatly combed white hair with her hair pins, typical silky white-black floral top with black pants and always smiling at us... ah-ma was definitely part of my growing up memory.

now ah-ma has passed on, my mother could be living a brand new way of life now. hopefully the old man at my place can change his attitude and lived a life. i believe our family life could be after all one of the most blissful one, or at least i wish.

you are the apple of my eye

rachel introduced me to the main movie theme song sometimes back, i downloaded it and had been listening to it over and over again. however as much as e song i like e song, i am unable to link e song to e movie. not until today, i watched it and i like e movie very much.

e story line was touching and close to heart. literally i was brought back to my schooling dayz. i wouldnt want to go into detail on how my schooling's dayz was like but the entire story was so close to my heart that i thought e director has spoken to me prior to this filming, ha! anyway full marks for this movie and very much i would like to own a dvd of this too! first of all, i have got to fix my dvd player which was down since last month!

congratulation

yesterday, i attended e wedding solemnizations of huiyans and justins at clarke quay and central tong-le respectively. and a week prior to this auspicious date, 11-nov-11, i attended james wedding at mandarin orchard too. obviously e couples were over e moon, especially justin and grace, both of them showed their deep affection for each other while they teared in front of dozen of cameras last evening! and for e first time, julip was with us for such a joyous occasions. well, as expected, she turned on her radio loud in e evening but we managed to off that shortly, not without a fight though!

next step

i am given an opportunity to improve e living of my familys recently. i am seriously in thought and e very first step was established. a call later literally put my hollyhood-like dream to a halt. keep my finger crossed and hopefully a new development will arise to put e positives back in place.

these days, i have been focusing on jpf talk. ever since e interviews done with malek awab and e famous sreetkings, i have been receiving recognition from oversea too. honestly till now, i am still unable to identify which is e correct direction for junpiter futbol but i am willing to try out all possibilities which will put junpiter futbol at e best position in this new online industry! well, everything looks alright so far. my very first merchandise - silicon wristband, is ready for distribution and sales!
