How Much Do You Understand Him?

I'm going to share a touching love story between a Singaporean gal and a China guy.

A 26yrs old young man was running a pub in a small province near Shanghai after serving a couple of years in the army. Business had been good until a trusted friend betrayed him in the second year. He's been deeply hurt and wounded by the betrayal of a trust-worthy peer. Not knowing what's the next step in life, he packed his bag for Singapore. He found a job at a big establishment as a set-up crew.

Trying to forget the times back at home, he worked hard everyday. No matter how hard he worked, he always wanted to go back to his family. Just when he was about to finish honouring his 2years contract with the company, he met the gal of his life. They fell in love. Every single bit of his life changed.

Many had been asking of all men out there, why a China guy? The answer is simple; Love. Both of them had to undergo many doubtful eyes and questionable period of time. A China man with only High School education matching up with a prestigious degree-holder Singaporean gal. The gal's family had not been very accepting towards this relationship. The last straw, the gal's dad asked her daughter,"How much do you know about his background and family?". The gal was speechless. The never-easy relationship once again was hitting the rocks, in jeopardy.

How can you measure a Love? Distance? The gal here conquered the distance, flew over to Shanghai, in search for the man's family without anybody knowing. After days of throwing herself around in an unfamiliar land, her effort had been paid off; she found his family. All the while, the man's family was awared of what's happening in Singapore. They knew what were the obstacles both of them were facing. The gal called the man, said that someone wished to speak to him. Yes, his mum. Upon hearing his mum's ageing voice, he cried. The gal showed everybody that Love can't be measure by enormous Distance. Her dad's question was answered.

6years of ostacles passed, both of them got married this year. Blissful life is their objective and I think they're doing great. To fully commit to this blissful relationship, he gave up his China Citizanship, took up Singapore Citizenship with only one objective in mind; never leave his wife alone...

This story was told to me by the man himself. I am touched. While listening to him, I could see a layer of tears just flowing above his eye-lips. I believe what he said is truth. It only takes a "strench" of sincerity to convince me his story.
