Latest Declaration: New Status - Married but Available

Justice of Peace declared both of us Man and Wife at 1845 hrs. Well, the day itself started as early as 0530 hrs. Weather was kind to us although Sunday was drizzling. Morning we went through the traditional Chinese routine ceremony; tea ceremony and suckling pig presentation ceremony.

Lunch was scary. My relatives packed my house for the luncheon and Joanne and me quickly excused ourselves from the crowd and made our way to Swissotel for a break. Evening that was the highlight of the day; dinner at One Rochester.

Slight drizzling throughout the evening. After the official solemnization, Joanne and me went around the guests for photo-taking. Food was great but Joanne and me didn't have the opportunity to taste them! I was delighted to see many of my friends who took time off from their personal hectic schedule just to attend my wedding function. Among them were Steve, Elvin, Coach Sivaji and Hideaki!

To me, the dinner was a successful one! Here, I am really thankful to all guests who had attended my wedding function. I'd like to thank a couple of friends who have been of a great help the whole day, especially Stephen, Justin, Fay, Elvin, Agnes, ShanShan, Maggie and Catherine! Without them, the day will not be a memorable one! Once again, thank you very much!

Wedding Eve

Dear all, this is a declaration of a young boy turning to be a Man soon. Tomorrow will be the day where I'm gonna invite a Lady into our Tan family! I am going to address her as Mrs Tan.

Preparation has been smooth so far. I am not aware was there any pre-wedding jitters but ever since recovering from a fever last week, I've been getting rather restless in daily routine. Concentration span in the office has significantly decreased. Although wedding date is approaching, I've not been very nervous. Heart-beat combines well with my breathing, nothing has actually change much to my life. In fact, I'd want 16 Sept to come faster and quickly get things done once and for all!

Well, both Joanne and me are looking forward to our USA trip on 20 Sept. Eugene called me just now (all the way from the States). We might want to meet up at Las Vegas for a coffee ya!

Sick Chicken

Both Joanne and me are down with fever. This is the first time in which both of us are down with an illness at the same time! She's always the one who's much more healtier than me though, but I think this time round, she's the one who spread the germs over to me!

Sunday's night had been cold and unbearable. Came Monday, after consulting the company doc, realised that I was still in the early stage of fever. Lucky me. Not so lucky for Joanne though. She called and said that she was running a fever at 38deg!

Anyway both of us are better now. All thanks to the forever bitter tablets and comfy bed of ours! We overcome the Sicko challenge, celebrated her birthday today! Happy Birthday darlin!
