Vision for a Big Feca

Just last week, I managed to catch up with one of my best friend, Steve. Right at the Plaza Sing Starbucks, under the rhythm of the heavy rain, we talked about Feca FC.

Feca is our childhood/school-dayz football team. That team was established back in 1995. The captain then was the blogger here, that's me. Feca, this name, was pened by me as well. Currently, the team is still playing around actively. Due to my hectic working schedule, I am unable to commit myself to the team. Although I am not able to contribute as much as I can on the field, I do have a great and ambitious vision for Feca!

Ever since I've achieved my Asian Coaching Licence, I've always wanted to run a football team. My context of running a team is to create a semi-professional football system within the team. I'd gather a team of 20 players who will be able to make themselves available for every Sunday's game, if there's a need, I would love to secure a small sponsor who's willing to pay each and every single player a small allowance in order to create that sense of belonging.

* Co'mon, tell me who are paid in an amateur football league in Singapore?? *

Of course the key player will be paid slightly more than average. Let's say, the allowance payout will be ranged from S$30-S$50 per game! Should there be any additional budget, goal and assist incentives can be considered. With this budget, I can source for a great Striker for 50bucks per game!

Players in Feca will be entitled to a full Adidas wear. On top of that, we will have training wear, match-day wear and bags with personalised embroidery. If working schedule can be compromised, I'd love to hold weekly training for the team at a desired playable pitch. Somewhere in Hougang is prefered.

* Now, i am laughing right inside my heart... *

Maybe I should start writing a proposal to stand-by. Should there be any opportunity to live a dream as per what I've written, I'd make it a successful one.

Forza Feca!
