malaysian
which part of me look like a malaysian?
ever since i started working in suntec, many assumed that i'm a malaysian who's working in singapore! guess what, especially during chinese new year period, there bound to be someone walking pass me, exchange hi and then e usual phrase, when i'm going back? i was like.. going back where??
they are asking if i'm going back to malaysia during e festive season lah!
co'mon lor.. i hav got tonnes of malaysian friends, real good friends but malaysian citizenship is never ever in my consideration. nope.. i should say i've never use e word "consider"!
our executive chef, chef edmund, knows about this malaysian joke of mine, he walked pass me this very morning, and he joked about when i'm going back for chinese new year again. he said e hair-do of mine really look like those malaysians who ride their bikes to work daily!
gosh... chef, that's fashion hair-do lor!
i used to have short and smart hair-do for some years prior to this new hair-style. i just thought of having a new look, play around with my hair, ultimately it's my dream to PERM my hair!! i believe if i'm gonna do that, everyone in suntec will faint i tell you!
kuali-working dayz sterotyped my citizen status i supposed. as e only local working in a group of malaysians, most probably that explained why i speak with a malaysian acent, arrggghh...!
worst still, prior to my transfer, many colleagues of mine used to think that i'm a thai, phillipino and one even say korean!
must speak more singlish with lah~ lor~ haiz....
