after thought

in my life, there're always target, or so-called objective, which will unnoticeably appear which gives me e additional strength to cope with e flow. apec is definitely one of those at this point of my life. apec opened my vision and i gained experience which will only do me good.

e entire duration of this event was a test to my endurance. i fell sick during e first few days of e event. my body was not in e best condition but i knew that e sicky body's condition should not be an excuse for me to give up. i hated to hear this but i was told that i totally lost control of e situation during my first 2days of event. gradually i picked up e momentum, made a 360 degree turn and i was back to e driver's seat.

all e guys checked into e hotel for e entire event period in order to have a good 3hrs rest however i chose otherwise. no matter how late i was, i made it a point to return home to be with joanne. be it a 4hrs or 3hrs, im just glad that im home - away from e office.

talk about who ive met during e event... erm.. other than e usual MM Lee, PM Lee and local ministers, i managed to meet a couple of well-known politicians like japanese prime minister - hatoyama, president lee myung bak of korea, china leader hu jingtao, malaysian prime minister najib and one of e most powerful women in e world - hillary clinton of united states of america. too bad didnt get to see e motorcade of mr obama!

anyway once an event of such a status has come to an end, there bound to be some movement over on e ground. mike is leaving. i believe more will come in e next few weeks. regardless what, e experience gained from this event was astonishing. hope that e experience would be relevant for e next target or objective to come.
